Ahead of the IPL 2023 match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the flamboyant batter, Nicholas Pooran, engages in a hilarious banter with ace pacer Arshdeep Singh after the training. Notably, the West Indies international asked the youngster to give him Dal Makhani treat later in the day while Arshdeep replied that if Pooran doesn’t hit a six against him in the game, then he surely will give a treat to Pooran.

In return, the 27-year-old mentioned that he never smashes sixes against Arshdeep Singh and only prefers singles. Pooran also lauded the young fast bowler for his toe-crushing yorkers and later once again mentioned that he wants to have Dal Makhani later in the night along with Paneer Butter Masala and Butter Chicken.

“Dal Makhani. Dal Makhani tonight. Arshdeep, can you carry Dal Makhani for us tonight?” asked Pooran in the video shared by the Lucknow-based team went viral on social media. Aeshdeep Singh came up with a cheeky reply, as he said, “Yeah, as long as you promise me you won’t hit me for a six.”

“Of course bro, I only hit you for singles, you know that. Every time you bowl yorkers to me, So will you carry some Dal Makhani for us tonight?” Pooran once again asked as Arshdeep was seen meeting other LSG crickters on the ground. This left everyone in splits as the PBKS fast bowler trolled Pooran by saying that there was life beyond the Dal Makhni too.

After suffering an embarrassing loss against the Gujarat Titans in their last match, the Lucknow Super Giants have slipped in the IPL Points Table as they now rank fourth on the list. Thus, against Punjab, under the captaincy of KL Rahul, LSG will aim to bounce back and regain their position in the top two.

The Punjab Kings, however, will not make it any easy for them. They have played some brilliant cricket under the leadership of Sam Curran in the recent past and courtesy of which, they are just a couple of places behind Lucknow at the moment. If the home side manages to register their fifth win on April 28, they will move to the top four of the table.
