Former pacer Ashish Nehra will make his commentary debut during the first Test against visiting Sri Lanka team in Kolkata’s Eden Gardens. He just hung his boots after a glorious career for India, which spanned over 18 years.
Former opener Virender Sehwag took Twitter as the platform to announce this news and asked for a grand welcome of ‘Nehra Ji’. Viru’s tweet reads; “Nehra ji ka commentary welcome zoron shoron se hona chahiye. Apne style me aap log bhi Nehra ji ko welcome zaroor karein.”

Ashish Nehra marked a full stop over his cricketing career after the first T20 International against New Zealand, which was played in his hometown Delhi. India won that match comfortably by 53 runs and Nehra bowled a tight wicket-less spell in that while conceding just 29 runs.
