Speaking with the Lord’s Cricket Ground’s Youtube channel, Ashton Agar named former Australian batsman and current coach Justin Langer and the dynamic Virender Sehwag as his openers. Justifying his decision of picking the Indian international as his opener, Agar said,  “He is my favorite cricketer of all-time. He looked to hit the ball for six from ball one and probably the most entertaining player to play the game.”

Following up after Sachin Tendulkar, Agar’s middle order comprises of the West Indies duo Brian Lara and Vivian Richards. He squeezed in Adam Gilchrist as the wicketkeeper of his team before moving on to the bowling department.

Ashton Agar has decided to go with Shoaib Akhtar and fellow countrymen bowler Brett Lee to as the only pacers in his team.  Speaking of the spinners Sri Lankan Rangana Herath makes it into Agar’s list.  Shane Warne joins Lee, Langer and Ponting as the 4th Australian named in Agar’s line-up.
