This incident happened during the fourth and final Test of the series at Sydney Cricket Ground (Sydney). Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, who won the Player of the Tournament award after finishing the series as the leading run-scorer (521 runs), faced the most number of balls (1,258 balls) in a Test series on the Australian soil as a visiting batsman, excluding only England batsmen.

In the Sydney Test, Pujara scored his third century in this series as he played another brilliant knock of 193 runs off 373 balls. During that lengthy innings, the Australian off-spinner had a funny banter with Pujara where he asked him, “Aren’t you bored yet!?”
