Mitchell Starc (Australia)
The Australian left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc hugely disappointed in this series with the ball in hand. In the entire Test series, the 28-year-old left-arm pacer was hugely underperformed as he took 13 wickets in this series with the bowling average of 34.53 – not even closer on his reputation. His best innings bowling figure in this series was 3/40 during the Adelaide Test.
He mostly failed to continue his rhythm and tight lines. Though he seemed really dangerous for sometimes, mostly it was faded away soon.
As a lower-order batsman, Starc had a little good impact by scoring 117 runs in seven innings with an average of 23.40. However, he hugely failed to put the important impact as a front-line bowler of the side.
