Here is the best playing XI of the three-match ODI series:

(Openers)

Rohit Sharma (India)

Rohit

Indian limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma was the third most run-scorer in the ODI series as he scored 185 runs in three innings as the opener with the average of 61.66. In the first ODI of the series, when India was struggling on 4/3 after coming to chasing down the 289-run target, Sharma played a great knock of 133 of 129 balls. However, apart from MS Dhoni (51), there was no other support for him as it went in vain after India only managed to score 254/9.

In the second ODI, Sharma provided a good start and scored 43 runs after coming to chase of 299 runs. However, in the third ODI, Sharma was dismissed at early after scoring only 9 runs.

Shikhar Dhawan (India)

Though Shikhar Dhawan didn’t play any big knocks, the left-handed Indian opening batsman provided some important starts for the national team. After playing a golden duck knock in the first ODI, Dhawan played 32 and 23 runs innings while he also provided some crucial early 40+ partnerships.
