Australia will lock horns with India in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Syndey Cricket Ground on Thursday. With the series currently leveled at 1-1, fans can expect a spirited performance from both teams as they will be eyeing to gain an unassailable 2-1 lead ahead of the 4th Test. India managed to make a superb comeback with a win in the second Test in response to their 36-run collapse in the first Test.
In Virat Kohli’s absence, the stand-in captain, Ajinkya Rahane managed to score a phenomenal century in the first innings and was ably supported by the bowlers and some good all-round performances from players like Ravindra Jadeja. However, the Indian team will be missing the services of Umesh Yadav, with T Natarajan named as his replacement.

Australia will welcome the return of David Warner, and possibly, Will Pucovski, with Joe Burns getting dropped from the squad. Warner’s return should add some steel to their batting, given that their top order hasn’t contributed much all series. The Aussies will also expect star man Steve Smith to step up and deliver in this crunch game.
Let us take you all to the Probable Fantasy XI you can create with the following tips:-
Wicket-Keepers
Tim Paine seems to be a better pick as he has been known for making a strong comeback and he will be much more effective on pitches in Australia. However, for India, Rishabh Pant will be keeping the wickets as he is known for playing match-winning knocks, but in order to maintain the balance of the Fantasy XI, Paine seems the better pick.
Batsmen
Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Marnus Labuschagne, and Steve Smith have always been the prime contenders for fantasy cricket. Even, Rohit Sharma also is added in fantasy cricket and that will depend on the balance of the squad. Apart from them, there are some useful batsmen in the line-ups as well, like Shubman Gill, and David Warner.

All-rounder
There are some really reliable all-rounders in both the teams but citing the pitch in Sydney, Ravindra Jadeja, and Cameron Green seems to be the perfect fit. Apart from them, the good all-rounder for fantasy cricket is Hanuma Vihari.
Bowlers
Both the teams don’t have decent bowling line-ups but they don’t have practiced a lot. Bowlers like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Mohamed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah become the obvious choices for the Fantasy XI on the sticky track of Sydney. Apart from them, some crucial bowlers can be like, Navdeep Saini, Josh Hazlewood, and Nathan Lyon.
