The recently concluded three-match ODI series between the hosts Australia and the visitors India was very close where India won the series by the 1-2 margins.

After India lost the first ODI at Sydney by 34 runs, they won the last two games of the series by six wickets (with four balls remaining) and seven wickets (with four balls remaining) respectively.

In the entire ODI series, while we saw some great performances, some players also disappointed with their on-field performances. Here are the worst five players in this series:

Nathan Lyon (Australia)

The 31-year-old Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon was the star during the recently concluded four-match home Test series against India. However, the picture was totally different during the ODI series.

While he was the joint leading wicket-taker (21 wickets) in the Test series, he failed to pick up any wickets in the first two games of the ODI series and later he was dropped for the final ODI of the series.
