In the first innings, the Indian all-rounder, Axar Patel took an exceptional catch of Chamika Karunaratner off teh bowling of Umran Malik.
Apart from Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli returned back to the pavilion quite cheaply. Rohit Sharma scored 17 runs off 21 balls. Earlier, after winning the toss and the Sri Lankan skipper, Dasun Shanaka elected to bat first, however, the entire Sri Lankan team was reduced to just 215 runs in 39.4 overs. In this way, India has a target of 216 runs to win the match.
