In the ongoing match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), the hosts skipper, Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and asked the visitors to bat first. LSG came out with all guns blazing as they smashed 74 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the powerplay overs. Ayush Badoni surprisingly came out to bat at the No.3 position and he was seen taking calculative risks.

Ayush Badoni played a blistering knock

Kyle Mayers played a fiery knock of 54 runs in 24 balls as he struck 7 fours and 4 sixes. All the variations were proving to be ineffective against Mayers as the pitch had zero assistance for the bowlers. The likes of Arshdeep Singh & the debutant Gurnorr Brar were taken to the cleaners.

Ayush Badoni along with Marcus Stoinis was constantly tonking the bowlers. The sly spinner Sikandar Raza was hammered for 17 runs in his first over. Shikhar Dhawan was quite clueless as all the field placings didn’t work well.

Liam Livingstone then was bowling the next delivery but this time Ayush Badoni too pulled out. There was a huge roar from the crowd after the incident.

PBKS failed to get rid of Marcus Stoinis & Nicholas Pooran quickly as the duo inflicted a lot of damage in the slog over. LSG’s score reached the humongous total of 257/ 5 and it seems that the visitors have already sealed the game.Â
