Pakistan’s skipper, Babar Azam has always been known for being one of the best batsmen across formats in the modern era. He has been witnessing a great deal of success both as a captain and as a batter. It is no secret that he is one of the richest players in Pakistan. The 26-year-old is centrally contracted with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in the top category (Category A) which earns him th annual salary of PKR 1.1 million (INR 5.31 lakh).

Babar Azam represents Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League as the franchise retained him for the 2021 season of the tournament. The Karachi Kings retained him under Platinum Category i.e. $ 170,000 (INR 1.24 crore). He is looking forward to dow well in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. Babar Azam is also one of the coolest customers on the field.

Meanwhile, an incident took place during the ongoing National T20 in Pakistan where Babara Azam looked in utter frustration. He could be seen hitting his bat on the pitch. Azam was plying his trade against Northern Pakistan.

In the process, Babar Azam also managed to score a superb century and gave the fans a visual treat. Although his ton couldn’t lead his team to a memorable win, it is indeed a good sign for Pakistan before the T20 World Cup in the Gulf nation.

The incident took place during the third over of the game when Babar Azam was visibly frustrated and hit the pitch. He attempted to flick a ball but couldn’t connect the ball properly. Pakistan cricketers are simultaneously prepping for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. The marquee event will be held in the UAE and Oman respectively.
