The first Test of the series is scheduled to commence in Chennai on September 19, with the second Test set to take place in Kanpur starting September 27. India, who currently lead the World Test Championship 2023-25 standings, will be looking to extend their dominance. The Indian squad features key players such as Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, signalling a strong lineup for the home team.

Bangladesh’s squad for this series includes a minor adjustment from their tour of Pakistan. Jaker Ali replaces the injured pacer Shoriful Islam. Despite this change, the team remains largely unchanged from the squad that achieved success in Rawalpindi.
