It is also very expected that the ground staff will submit a report to the match referee Chris Broad before the 12 p.m. on Saturday.

The drama began from the last over of the match when Bangladesh needed 12 runs in 6 balls with 3 wickets in hand.

After the second ball of that over, Bangladesh team was demanding a no-ball due to the second bouncer of that over. However, the on-field umpires counted that second ball as the legitimate delivery.

After that ball, Bangladesh had only 4 balls to score 12 runs as they also lost another wicket in that delivery.

In result, Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan instructed the on-field players to come off the field. However, after all the mess, the match restarted where the set batsman Mahmudullah showed the heroic batting and snatched the match with the one ball to spare.

The heat moments were not ended even after the match as both team members had some verbal attacking fights.

However, after the match, skipper Shakib apologised for his behaviour while Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal mentioned that it could be handled better way.

Now, while the ground staff will go through the CCTV footage to find out who did the damage, umpires will go through the match video to take on the decision over any cricketer.

With this victory, Bangladesh qualified for the final of this tournament. They will meet against India in the Nidahas Trophy final on this Sunday at the same venue (R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo).
