Bigg Boss Season 12 is scheduled to commence on September 16 and the show is based on Dutch series Big Brother. Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been hosting the show from last four seasons and it will be his fourth time in a row. The show will be aired on Colors TV. The series generate massive Total Rating Points (TRP) mostly due to the controversial happening inside the house.

A number of prominent celebrities have featured in the so-called ‘reality TV show’ which comprises the elimination rounds take place every week. Shilpa Shinde, a popular TV actress, won the show in the last season defeating Hina Khan, another heroine, after public voting. Meanwhile, it has been learned that Indian cricketer S Sreesanth is set to take part in this year’s show as per reports in Bollywood Life.

When the fast-bowler made his international debut for India back in October 2005 during Sri Lanka’s tour of India, he was expected to become India’s premier fast bowler, but the 2013 spot-fixing scandal in the Indian Premier League (IPL) turned his career around upside down. He played for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and was arrested along with Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila.

On September 2013, he was slapped with a life ban by the Board of Cricket in India (BCCI). Since then, he has been making several attempts to make a comeback to competitive cricket, but his efforts have gone in vain. Nevertheless, the disgraced cricketer didn’t drop the gun and has got himself a muscular physique by working out in the gymnasium.

Back in 2017, Sreesanth made his debut in Bollywood with Zareen Khan- starrer ‘Aksar 2’, in which he played the role of a lawyer. He also has tried his hand in politics when he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2016 and fought the state elections from Thiruvananthapuram, but lost to a Congress candidate. Meanwhile, the upcoming edition of the Bigg Boss will have 21 contestants.
