On Saturday, the Indian fans were in some serious shock when the Indian skipper Virat Kohli was dismissed by Moeen Ali for a zero in the second Test in Chennai. Kohli was out in the fifth ball that he faced with a delivery from Ali which went through his bat and pad to hit the top of off-stump and leaving India was reeling at 86/3 with Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli going back to the pavilion in successive overs.

What surprised the fans was Kohli’s reaction after the dismissal. The ball spun in so much to go through his bat and pad, and Kohli could barely believe the amount of spin the bowl had managed to extract and almost believed that it was a stumping incident.

England’s Barmy Army, the team’s official supporters club was seen taking a dig at the reaction of the Indian skipper after the dismissal. They shared a post with the India skipper’s reaction and tweeted, “Going to the kitchen to make a cuppa but realizing there’s no milk in the fridge #INDvsENG.”

After the dismissal, Virat Kohli continued to stand at the crease and look at Rohit Sharma in disbelief after dismissal which forced the umpire to go and check whether it was bowled or stumped. 

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat in the second Test against England. India has made three changes to the side that lost the first Test. They have decided to give some rest to Jasprit Bumrah and brought in Mohammed Siraj. Left-arm spinner Axar Patel, who is making his Test debut, and Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav came in the playing as the replacements of left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem and off-spinner Washington Sundar, respectively.

For England, pace bowler James Anderson made way for Stuart Broad,  Olly Stone has been replacing injured Jofra Archer. Also coming into the side are off-spin bowling all-rounder Moeen Ali in place of Dom Bess and Ben Foakes for Jos Buttler.
