Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that they will host back-to-back bilateral home series against Zimbabwe and Windies from October to December. They have also announced the full fixtures of Windies tour of Bangladesh, starting from November 22.
While BCB has announced the dates and fixtures details of the Windies series, they have also confirmed that the Zimbabwe series will be played in October. Earlier, the Zimbabwe schedule was originally scheduled in January 2019, but due to the upcoming national elections in the country, BCB has decided to conduct it early.
BCB chief executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury said, “Apart from the West Indies, we’ve also confirmed the Zimbabwe series in October. They (Zimbabwe) will play two Tests and three ODIs. It means we will now play back-to-back series this year.”

While Zimbabwe will play two Tests and three ODIs in their Bangladesh tour, Windies will play two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is in their Bangladesh tour that will be run from November 22 to December 22. All the limited-overs encounters will be the day/night encounters.
The first Test of that two-match Test series will begin on November 22 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (Chittagong). The last Test will be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (Dhaka) that will begin on November 30.

The ODIs will be played on December 9, 11 and 14. While the first two ODIs will be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (Dhaka), the third one will be played at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (Sylhet).
The T20Is have been scheduled for December 17, 20 and 22. The first one will be played at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (Sylhet) and the last two will be held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (Dhaka).

Prior to the Test series, Windies will play a two-day warm-up game against BCB XI at M. A. Aziz Stadium (Chittagong) on 18-19 November. Prior to the ODI series, the visitors’ Windies will play a 50-over warm-up game at Fatullah Osmani Stadium (Fatullah) on December 6 while the opposing team will be decided soon.
