The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that Dream11, India’s largest fantasy sports gaming platform, will be the lead sponsor for Team India for the next three years. In a statement, the BCCI stated that Dream11’s logo will be featured on the Team India jerseys, starting with the Test series against the West Indies, which will also mark the team’s first assignment in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-2025 cycle.

Dream11 has taken over as the primary sponsor from Byju’s and previously served as the title sponsor for the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2020. The change in sponsorship came after Vivo, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, withdrew its support due to public backlash against Chinese companies amidst the India-China border dispute.

Mr. Binny highlighted the trust, value, potential, and growth that Indian cricket offers and emphasized the importance of enhancing fan experience, especially with the upcoming ICC World Cup. He believed that this partnership would contribute to elevating fan engagement.
