BCCI interim president CK Khanna told that CoA will take the final decision on Shami after the ACU report. He mentioned, “Since ACU chief Neeraj Kumar is investigating and has been given a seven-day time frame, any decision will be taken after he submits his report. The final decision will be taken by the CoA.”

Presently, BCCI has put on hold Mohammed Shami’s new annual central contract.

Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly, who is also the member of IPL governing council, recently said that they will wait for the ACU report. In the 2018 IPL Auction, Mohammad Shami was bought by Delhi Daredevils for INR 3 crore. The CEO of Delhi Daredevils, Hemant Dua has also confirmed that Shami’s IPL future is depending on that report. He quoted, “We are hoping that Shami is cleared and will be allowed to play in the league. However, we will have to wait for the BCCI probe to conclude. The BCCI has assured us that the report will be out in a week’s time.”

Hasin Jahan first brought the charges of extra-marital affairs and domestic violence against her husband before claiming the match-fixing allegation.

Shami is getting the support from the cricket families, as the former Indian world cup winning skippers Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni have backed the Indian pacer.
