The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has implemented new regulations for the Indian men’s cricket team ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, restricting certain privileges for players. The newly introduced 10-point guideline limits the presence of personal staff, including assistants, security personnel, and private chefs, even for senior players like Virat Kohli.

Despite the new restrictions, Kohli has managed to maintain his strict dietary regimen. According to a report by The Times of India, he coordinated with a local team manager to arrange meals from a reputed restaurant upon arriving in Dubai. After a training session, he received a specially prepared food packet, ensuring he adhered to his disciplined nutrition plan.

- Baggage limit: Each player is allowed up to 150 kg of luggage; any excess baggage costs must be borne individually.
- Family travel policy: Players’ partners and children under 18 can join them on overseas tours lasting more than 45 days, but only for two weeks per series. The BCCI will provide shared accommodation.
