During the Big Bash League (BBL) match between Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Stars on Monday, Ben Duckett was seen smashing a maximum using a reverse sweep shot while facing Qais Ahmad. In the 23rd match of the ongoing BBL, the left-hand batsman went on to play a smashing knock of 54 runs off 35 balls, which included six fours and two maximum.
After being asked to bat first, Melbourne Stars went on to post a huge total of 207/9 owing to a brilliant partnership of 151 runs between Joe Clarke (85) and Hilton Cartwright (79). During the chasing, Brisbane Heats only managed to reach the score of 187/9 and they eventually lost the game by 20 runs against the Glenn Maxwell-led side.

For Brisbane Heat, Chris Lynn, and Ben Duckett scored half-centuries but they weren’t enough for the team to get over the line. Lynn, who opened the batting for Brisbane Heat scored 57 runs, and he smashed three fours and five sixes during his 37-ball stay.
During the match, Brisbane Heat’s Ben Duckett smashed a maximum using a reverse sweep shot against Melbourne Star’s Qais Ahmad. Duckett fetched the delivery from the outside leg and decided to smash the ball flat over the sweeper cover fence for a maximum.

Ben Duckett also played a brisk knock of 54 off 35 balls, which included six fours and a couple of maximums. Qais scalped three wickets for his team by conceding just 26 runs from four overs that he bowled in the match. Qais Ahmed took 3 wickets in the game but only conceded 26 runs in his spell of four overs.
