England’s new Test captain Ben Stokes fell on the ground after inside edging a short delivery from Marnus Labuschagne. However, the video went viral in no time. Notably, Stokes has been in sublime form in the ongoing County Championship 2022 for Durham. Moreover, he has already played a great knock of 161 off just 88 deliveries against Worcestershire in their previous game as well.
However, he continued his impressive form into the game against Glamorgan too where he smashed 82 off just 110 balls and hit eight fours and two sixes as well. And, his stunning form will be key in the upcoming three-match Test series for England against New Zealand as it will be the first assignment for Ben Stokes as the full-time Test captain of England after Joe Root had stepped down from the role following the backlash he faced over their performance in recent times.

As far as the delivery is concerned, Ben Stokes got hit in the lower portion of his waist and he fell down on the ground directly. Labuschagne saw that while Stokes had to stretch himself fully to get out of pain. While it was an awkward moment for him, no serious took place as well. However, Stokes was batting on 33 when the incident took place and he went on to make a well-made half-century too.
