New Zealand’s leading fast bowler, Trent Boult, has been a revelation for them since his Test debut against Australia at Hobart in 2011. Boult has cemented his place in New Zealand’s playing eleven across formats.
In the 50 Tests that he has played so far, Boult has picked up 190 wickets at an average of 28.75, an economy rate of 2.96 and a strike rate of 58.1, including five five-wicket hauls. His best innings figure of 6/40 and match figures of 10/80 came against West Indies in 2013 in a ‘Man of the Match’ performance at Wellington.
In 54 ODIs, he has picked up 94 wickets at an average of 26.21, an economy rate of 5.04 and a strike rate of 31.1. In 17 T20Is, he has clinched 26 victims at an average of 19.46, an economy rate of 8.16 and a strike rate of 14.3
