Despite losing their star batsmen, South Africa has some hope to win the second One-Day International against India in Centurion as their recent record suggests so. Apart from not losing a single game in previous seven ODIs, Proteas openers Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock were among the runs every time they stepped on this ground.
Amla is on a roll here with four back-to-back hundreds in ODIs but this streak is broken by Team India, who dismissed him for 20. He was looking good in the middle and played some glorious shots but Bhuvneshwar Kumar battered him with his sharp swing.

Facing the last over of batting power play, Amla edged one ball behind the wicket and MS Dhoni was in no mood to let this opportunity slip away. However, Hash reviewed umpire’s decision straightaway and everyone thought it can overturn but the opener and review both were gone.
It will be a good test of South Africa’s middle order as regular skipper Faf du Plessis has been ruled out from the remainder of the limited-over series.
