The veteran Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is celebrating his 29th birthday. He is currently playing in the T20I series against New Zealand. The Indian players had decided to make the day special for their colleague. So, a cake was brought and the birthday boy was supposed to cut the cake.
However, as soon as Bhuvi has cut the cake, the bowlers Yuzvendra Chahal and Khaleel Ahmed were right in his face with a big chunk of the cake as former Indian skipper MS Dhoni held onto his hands from behind, so that he does not escape. The plan was carried off successfully as Bhuvi received a cake smash on the eve of the 1st T20I against New Zealand at Wellington.

All the three cricketers have been included in the expected to make the cut in the playing XI in the ongoing first T20I against the Kiwis at the Westpac Stadium. APart from them, Dhoni and Rishabh Pant have also been featuring the team and given the form Chahal and Bhuvi has shown they will be obvious picks. Khaleel’s inclusion was a bit dicey ahead of the game as they had options of Mohammad Siraj and Siddharth Kaul.

Meanwhile, India stand-in captain Rohit Sharma is on the verge of two massive world records. He has the chance of becoming the leading run-getter in T20I cricket. He needs 36 runs to go past Martin Guptill. The Indian skipper could also join Guptill and Chris Gayle to become the third cricketer to hit 100 sixes in T20I cricket. Gayle and Guptill have hit 103 sixes, whereas Rohit has 98 under his belt.
