The veteran Indian fast bowler, Bhuvneshwar Kumar said that he has been surprised by the maturity shown by the young seamer, Arshdeep Singh, whose brilliance in death overs has landed him a place in the national team. Punjab Kings left-arm fast bowler, Arshdeep has the ability to bowl yorkers at will, and that too with an ice-cool approach in the slog overs of the game.
It is this talent that has brought him into the selection mix of the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Arshdeep Singh, who made his T20I debut against England last month, has so far played a couple of matches for the Indian team, the other match against West Indies. While showcasing his final overs prowess, the 23-year-old claimed 2/18 against England and 2/24 against West Indies.

As per the quotes in India Today, talking about the youngster, Bhuvneshwar Kumar said, “The best thing about him is that he knows exactly what is required. What kind of field setting is needed, how to bowl to each batsman – very few newcomers display that kind of maturity.”
He further added, “Usually you learn these things as you play but he seems to have arrived with that kind of maturity. Even in the IPL in the last couple of years, he has performed consistently. He knows exactly what he wants to do, he thinks a lot about his game.”
