Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) new vice-captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar recently had an interview with The Quint where he shared about his various thoughts for this IPL season. His wife Nupur Nagar was also present in that interview where she shared some words with her husband.
While Nupur and Bhuvneshwar were childhood friends, they married in last November. Recently in the interview, when Nupur was asked about the easy or difficulties to marry a cricketer, she said, “Somewhere very difficult because he is travelling all the time, and easy because we were friends and it’s easier to manage post-marriage.”

When Nupur was asked whether the Indian right-arm pacer changed at all, she answered yes and further quoted, “He was more decent and more innocent and now he has become smarter.”
Bhuvneshwar soon replied her, “It’s called maturity.”
Later, Nupur was also asked whether Bhuvneshwar is actually a polite person away from cricket.
She replied, “No. That’s the public appearance.”
Talking about the IPL 2018, Bhuvneshwar was asked whether his team will miss the Australian opener David Warner who was SRH captain since 2015. Warner was the initial captain of this team for this season too but he faced a suspension for this season after Cricket Australia (CA) suspended him for one year due to the leading involvement for ball-tampering.
Answering on that, Bhuvi quoted, “Of course, we are going to miss him on the team. He is a player who can win a match single-handedly. He is also one of the best fielders in the world. You will find many players, but you cannot replace a player like Warner.”

One youngster to watch in the IPL – It’s very difficult to take one name. There are quite few guys. If I talk about Sunrisers, there are 3-4 guys.

One coach to look out for – Of course Ashish Nehra.
One batsman you do not like bowling to in the IPL – There are quite a few batsmen. Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina.
One big surprise package this IPL – Basil Thampi.
Purple Cap: with Bhuvi or somebody else at the end of the season – Hopefully with me.
One young player in the team we should look out for – There are a few guys like Basil Thampi, Sandeep Sharma and among the batsmen, Deepak Hood. He is one of the talented guys in India
In next, Bhuvi also spoke about Wriddhiman Saha’s recent 20-ball century in a local T20 tournament.
When he was asked about that innings, the Indian pacer said, “When I first read the news, I was wondering whether it was a prank. It was good news for Sunrisers that he’s in good form. It was good news that a wicketkeeper is in good form. It will give an X-factor.”
