The web-series ‘Paatal Lok’, produced by Anushka Sharma, has had earned a plethora of fans ever since it aired on OTT platform Amazon Prime. While it has mostly received praise from various standards of the society all quarters, the series has also sparked a few controversies. The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) MLA Nandkishor Gurjar has filed an FIR against Anushka for using his picture without taking permission.
Moreover, the right-wing MLA has also filed a police case against the Bollywood actress under the National Security Act for giving rise to communalism in society. And now, Nandkishor has gone one step ahead urging Team India skipper Virat Kohli to give divorce to his wife.

In a conversation with Newsroom Post, Nandkishor stated that no one is bigger than the country. Thus, Virat shouldn’t be tolerating it and must divorce Anushka as soon as possible, added the BJP MLA. He also said that this step from the Indian skipper will send a strong message to everyone.

To take it further, the BJP MLA has gone on to write a letter to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javdekar and has requested to ban the streaming of the web series.

Meanwhile, Anushka and Virat are yet to comment on this and are currently passing the time at home amid nationwide lockdown.
