Lee highlighted the contrasting opening partnerships, particularly praising KKR’s Phil Salt and Sunil Narine for their aggressive start, which he felt set the tone for the match. In contrast, Lucknow struggled to find momentum, with Rahul’s sluggish innings exacerbating the situation.

“If you look at both opening batters from both sides, it’s a complete contrast. KKR have got it right. They’re out of the blocks quickly, they’re scoring runs. And then you got KL Rahul on the other side, that’s, you know, getting a run a ball and putting a lot of pressure on the back end,” Brett Lee remarked on Jio Cinema.

Brett Lee expressed concern over Rahul’s inconsistent performances throughout the tournament, noting a decline in his strike rate from earlier matches. He emphasized the pressure on Rahul to perform and the need for him to contribute significantly with the bat.
