During the ongoing third T20I between South Africa and India at Cape Town, Jasprit Bumrah castled Chris Morris’ stumps to further dent South Africa’s innings.
Chasing a target of 173 runs to win the match, the South African batsmen were devoid of run-scoring opportunities big time. The ever-increasing required run rate is a supreme example of the same.
On the third delivery of the 17th over, Morris missed a back of a length delivery as his sweep did not make contact with the ball. The ball went on to hit the wickets, making Morris the fifth South African batsman to depart.
Morris was sent in to bat at No. 6, ahead of Farhaan Behardien, in a bid to launch the big shots form the word go. However, some disciplined bowling from the Indian bowlers did not let that happen. He ended up scoring 4 (3) with the help of a four.
