Jasprit Bumrah took a stunner of a catch in his follow through to dismiss South African skipper Faf du Plessis, who was holding Africa’s fort from one end. He took it after dropping one tough chance of the same batsman earlier in his innings.
Faf came to bat after AB de Villiers was undone by extra bounce of a Mohammad Shami delivery. Indian skipper Virat Kohli brought Bumrah straightaway to unsettle Du Plessis and this move worked as well. But Indian pacer couldn’t control his body pace and fumbled the ball from his hands in his follow through.
However, Bumrah had his redemption in the 89th over, when South Africa’s number five couldn’t read the lack of the pace in a delivery and gave it back to the bowler, who managed to pluck to ball this time. Du Plessis had to head back to the pavilion and he missed a well-deserved half-century by two runs.

India dismissed South Africa for 258 in 91.3 overs to get a mammoth target of 287, which hasn’t been achieved in any Test played at Centurion’s SuperSport Park. However, the visitors are reeling at 35/3 at the stumps of day 4 while Cheteshwar Pujara and Parthiv Patel are batting in the middle.
