Often regarded as not the best of fielders, Jasprit Bumrah is taking giant leaps to prove the notion wrong to many people. Having grabbed a sensational catch in the last ODI to dismiss Farhaan Behardien, Bumrah put in another acrobatic effort in a bid to stop a David Miller six off Hardik Pandya.
On the first ball of the seventh over, Miller’s leading edge kept on climbing as the ball was racing over the boundary.
Bumrah was successful in pushing the ball into the boundary, but because his last point of contact before touching the boundary was the boundary rope, it was adjourned as a six. However, full credit to Bumrah for putting in such an effort.
On the next legal delivery, Miller mis-timed Pandya’s slower delivery to Shikhar Dhawan at mid-on. He ended up scoring 9 (4) with the help of a six.
