In the second ODI of the ongoing Paytm ODI series, Glenn Maxwell’s stay was cut down by some smart bowling from Yuzvendra Chahal. Maxwell came in to bat after the dismissal of Travis Head at 3-85.

The 28-year old right hand batsman did not waste much time and hit two sixes off Kuldeep Yadav. With the square leg up in the circle, Maxwell realised that it was an open scoring opportunity for him. Citing the same reason, he swept two consecutive deliveries into the stands.

Just when he was looking dangerous, Chahal dismissed him with his guile. Chahal saw the batsman stepping down and adjusted his line accordingly. MS Dhoni did not any mistake behind the wicket and stumped Maxwell, who was way down the crease. Chasing 253 runs to win, Australia were reduced to 104-6 in 22.5 overs.
