South Africa’s head coach Mark Boucher had said that the SA Cricket Association has made sure that the team meets with a strong medical team who have advised them about the dos and don’ts during their tour to India.
Speaking with the media Boucher in his pre-departure press conference on Monday, “With regards to handshakes and type of stuff that’s a concern, so it will probably be fine if we do the same if it comes to that. I think it’s a way to stop anything from happening to our guys.”
He adds “We have a security staff and if we have medical concerns, we give it to them and they come up with recommendations. If they think it is too dangerous, they will pull us out. We had a nice brief last night from medical staff about the virus going around.. that is a major concern. “

Boucher ends with “We are not medical people and we don’t know medicine as they do. So we have taken their recommendations and I am sure they have put stuff in places that are going to help us.”
The Indian cricket team is also taking every precautionary measure possible to make sure the health of any person is not compromised. With the Coronavirus issue, spreading all across the globe, it has affected various sporting events. IPL is also under the scanner, and the BCCI is yet to make a decision on the series getting postponed or canceled to avoid mass gatherings of people.
