Chennai Super Kings welcome Scott Kuggeleijn with a set of gifts

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have started their Indian Premier League (IPL) journey with back to back wins. However, they have recently lost to Mumbai Indians (MI). From the beginning, they have been suffering from injury issues and some of the players became unavailable as well. Lungi Ngidi has been injured prior to the first game and hence, ruled out of the tournament. Moreover, David Willey too is not playing due to some family problems. On the other hand, Dwayne Bravo has been suffering from hamstring niggle and Shane Watson is also a bit injury prone. That’s why Stephen Fleming revealed that they have thought of some players inclusion in the side.

CSK doesn’t have many quality pacers in their squad and they played with only 3 overseas players in three out of their four games. Mitchell Santner was the fourth foreigner that played in the game against Rajasthan Royals. However, CSK signed up Scott Kuggeleijn in place of injured Lungi Ngidi. Kuggeleijn is a Fast bowler from New Zealand and recently played international cricket against India earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the New Zealand fast bowler has already joined the squad and one of the most successful franchises in the history of the IPL, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) welcomed him in style. Scott Kuggeleijn took to Instagram and posted a picture of how Chennai based franchise welcomed him. The 27-year-old Kuggeleijn was welcomed with a photo frame which was seen his pictures in the New Zealand national team jersey, a childhood picture and one with his loved ones.

Along with the photo frame, he also got a book, titled ‘The Ultimate Comeback’ which is based on Chennai Super Kings’ journey, their winning titles, their came back and rise to the top after being suspended for two years. He has also been given a pillow with his name written on it and he has certainly liked the gifts.
