The video of the chat between the two bowlers was shared on the official Instagram account of IPL. It is to be noted that Sakariya’s father Mr. Kanjibhai Sakariya unfortunately passed away in May 2021 after turning COVID-19 positive while the pacer was up in his debut IPL season. He was brought by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) for INR 1.20 crores during his debut in IPL and was released by them after the first season.

During IPL 2022 mega auction, DC managed to buy the services of the pacer at INR 4.20 crores after having an intense bidding war with RR and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). It remains to be seen how Sakariya will contribute to DC’s success in the future if he gets to be part of XI continuously.

Talking of DC vs KKR game, Kuldeep Yadav was at his very best as he bagged another 4-wicket haul while giving just 14 runs to collect his fourth player of the match award of the season.
