Cheteshwar Pujara Gets Inspired From Virat Kohli For His Look?

The Indian Test specialist, Cheteshwar Pujara is making the best use of his time away from the game. The India batsman, who has been spending time with his family and friends during the lockdown, revealed a new look on social media. Dressed in a pink shirt and blue trousers, Pujara sported a well-groomed beard.

Cheteshwar shared the look on social media and titled his Instagram post: “Appreciation & Gratitude”. While Pujara was flooded with thumbs up for his new look, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was certainly impressed. “What a look pujji,” Kohli wrote as reply to Pujara’s photo. “Inspired by you skip,” Pujara responded.

India cricketers, led by Kohli, have been acing their beard games for quite some time now. In fact, Virat got one of his latest haircuts from wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma. The Indians skipper also spoke about the importance of being well-groomed during the time in lockdown.

Captioning the video on Instagram, Virat wrote: “While we’re all indoors, it’s extremely important to do stuff that makes you feel good. Staying well-groomed is one of the things that keeps me in the zone. So I thought of trimming my beard at home and giving myself this new look”.

Meanwhile, Pujara has been one of the few Indian cricketers who have begun outdoor training. The India batsman has been hitting the nets at his academy in the outskirts of Rajkot along with his Saurashtra teammates Jaydev Unadkat, Arpit Vasavada, and Prerak Mandkad.

Pujara on Instagram wrote: “Back at it…felt like a long time away but just as I took the stance felt as it was yesterday”.”As for us (Pujara and I), we started with batting sessions of 10-15 minutes and plan to increase the intensity gradually. We also have some net bowlers who are based out of Rajkot,” Vasavada told PTI about the training sessions.

Pacer Ishant Sharma was also seen doing outdoor training, sporting an India training jersey on Tuesday.
