The self-proclaimed Universe Boss, Chris Gayle has always been known for being one of the most entertaining cricketers both on and off the field. His unique antics always keep people around him cheerful. However, recently, Gayle was seen getting a bit emotional while remembering his late mother on Mother’s Day. This year, Mother’s Day was celebrated around the world on May 9 and various cricketers posted pictures with their mothers and wished them in adorable ways.

Gayle lost his mother in 2018 while succumbing to a heart attack. The amazing hitter was seen emotional while listening to a song named ‘Mama’ by Mavado. He posted several Instagram stories while remembering his mother and tear could be seen rolling down his eye. Through his stories, Gayle passed a clear message to keep loved ones close and he also pointed out the importance of spending time with them.

In a video posted by Chris Gayle, he was heard saying, “Deep thoughts. Mom you memories will live on forever! We had fun and you’re fun.. I’ll continue that legacy mom! Live life to the fullest! I know you wanted to tell me a lot before you go. I’m sorry. Imma fight on because you’re a fighter. You been through the struggle to make us all eat! We’ll talk more, see you on the other side mom. Love always.”

Though the Caribbean superstar has always been known for an entertaining and cheerful person, he was seen in a purely emotional state while remembering his mother. Earlier on that day, he tweeted, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful Mom’s out there. Have a lovely day.”

Recently, Chris Gayle was last seen in action in IPL 2021 (suspended currently) with Punjab Kings where he starred for them on more than one occasion.
