South African all-rounder Chris Morris has made a sensational revelation that he is done with Cricket South Africa (CSA) and will not be playing again for South Africa. This comes as a shock to his several fans and well-wishers who wanted to see him play for South Africa again.
There are some troublesome times going on within CSA. They opted to look beyond their talismanic batter Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir and Chris Morris for the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE. Temba Bavuma is leading them in the tournament while several fans are scratching their head on the absence of Morris, Tahir and Du Plessis.

In a recent interaction with Sportskeeda, the all-rounder has said he has had enough of CSA and he won’t be playing again for South Africa.
“My playing days for South Africa are done. I am not one for announcing things and officially retiring and all of that. They know where I stand, I know where I stand, but my days are done for CSA, I think they know that,” Morris told Sportskeeda.
Morris explains that his decision not to announce an official retirement from international cricket was based on a personal decision.
“There hasn’t been an official retirement because that’s not how I am, but like I said, my international cricket days are done. I am focussing on domestic cricket and giving back to the team as much as I can. I was fortunate to represent South Africa in all 3 formats, I had an opportunity to represent my country,” he added.

The four-Tests, 42-ODIs and 23-T20Is veteran last played for South Africa in the World Cup 2019 in England.
“If you had asked me the same question a few months ago, I would have given you a longer answer but right now I am content with my life and my career,” he said.
South Africa lost their campaign opener against Australia while making a roaring comeback against West Indies and won the game by eight wickets. They will be playing Sri Lanka in their next encounter on October 30 in Sharjah.
