Chris Morris Feels Chetan Sakariya Is The Find Of IPL 2021

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has to be suspended indefinitely due to the deadly second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Though the situation was now that bad, BCCI had left with no option other than to suspend the tournament midway through. It was recently confirmed that most of the players have returned back some barring some of the foreign players.

Recently, the most expensive player of the IPL 2021, Chris Morris was asked who he feels is his find of the tournament. In response to that, he was pretty honest. The Proteas all-rounder highlighted the fact that one of his teammates is the find of the recently stopped competition.

Chetan Sakariya has been really impressive in the 7 games he played for Rajasthan Royals (RR). He managed scalp as many as seven wickets in as many game. Chris Morris had more wickets than him and made a great all-round contribution, he reckons that his young Indian teammate was doing really well.

 

On the other hand, RR was playing well before the tournament was suspended. They had managed to win threegames out of the 7 they had played, with a points tally of six points. Their net run rate was -0.190 but it was going up.

The IPL 2021 tournament has seen the likes of CSK and RCB rise up to the occasion. They were looking like a formidable team and are looking to win. RR laos had a chance of pushing for a top-four finish and can make it to the playoffs. They will have to show some consistency in the upcoming days.

Under the captaincy of Sanju Samson,  the players have managed to chrun out some good performances. Though the start wasn’t the best, they slowly started to pick up before the tournament was stopped. Due to this, one team that would be totally disappointed with the competition being halted would be the Rajasthan Royals.
