The South Africa all-rounder Chris Morris has recently named his favourite players in world cricket and they are – Sanju Samson and Hardik Pandya. He has described them as the best players in recent time. Chris Morris who became the most expensive player in mini-auction of IPL history for 16.25 crores, showed his class in their last game where he claimed four wickets and helped Rajasthan Royals win the game with six wickets as well.
Morris conceded only 23 runs in his spell and they restricted KKR within 133 on the board. So far, Morris has helped his side win two games single-handedly for the franchise. Chris Morris named Sanju Samson is his favourite No.1 player and he again added that he has been watching him for a long time which also included the early days in the IPL. He credited Sanju Samson for his development throughout the years and he also applauded Hardik Pandya as a showstopper as well.
“Sanju is my favourite No. 1 player, obviously because I’ve watched him for a long time now and watched him develop into the man and the player he is today, but I really enjoy Hardik (Pandya) play. I think he’s a showstopper — he is prime time,” said Chris Morris.

Meanwhile, Sanju Samson gave the credit to Chris Morris for his advice way back in 2016 to hit every ball out of the park which has helped him to do well. Notably, Samson has scored a brilliant century in the first match against Punjab and nearly pulled off a win for his team.
“The best piece of advice I ever got was from you (Morris). And it was to smack every ball I faced. That’s what I’ve been doing since 2016 when I met you. And, yes, it feels good. ” Samson said in a video interview with Chris Morris.
However, Samson has also played a good knock in the last game with an unbeaten 42 and he is likely to continue his form throughout the tournament.
