Talented youngster Umran Malik has already impressed everyone with his pace and disciplined bowling. He did a brilliant job against Gujarat Titans and fans could not stop applauding him as well. And, former finance minister P Chidambaram also praised the youngster. The 22-year-old has claimed his maiden five-wicket haul in IPL and finished with figures of 5 for 25 in his 4-overs spell in a relatively high-scoring match.

Umran Malik came into the attack after the powerplay and he sent Shubman Gill back with a peach of a delivery. He dismissed Hardik Pandya with a bouncer in his next over with a brilliant fielding as well. He returned towards the end of the innings and picked up three more wickets of Wriddhiman Saha, David Miller, and Abhinav Manohar quickly. However, despite his brilliance with the ball, Gujarat Titans sealed the deal as Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia won the gam for the side.

Coming back to P Chidambaram’s tweet, the senior Congress leader added that Umran Malik was unstoppable with his stunning pace and marked him as the find of the cash-rich league this season as well. He also stated that BCCI provide him with a special coach to look after him as well.
