On Tuesday, former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni is celebrating his 39th birthday and he has been receiving wished from across the globe for the former India captain. While Dhoni received a lot of heartwarming messages from his teammates on social media, Cricket Australia’s (CA) Twitter handle came up with a unique idea of wishing the former Indian skipper, who is known for hitting sixes.
Terming MS Dhoni as “one of the biggest hitters we’ve ever seen”, CA posted some of the best sixes smashed by Dhoni on Twitter. The video was appreciated a lot by the fans soon after it was uploaded.
Captioning the video, Cricket Australia wrote: “One of the biggest hitters we’ve ever seen! MS Dhoni turns 39 today, and here are his best sixes in Australia!”.

In his illustrious career, Dhoni has played 91 matches (including ) against Australia which he has amassed 2,963 runs at an average of 40.58 with the help of three centuries under s belt. From behind the stumps, MS has grabbed 110 catches and affected 38 stumpings against the Aussies.

Dhoni has an outstanding record in ODIs against the Aussies as in 55 games she has scored 1,660 runs at an average of 44.86 with two centuries and a high score of 139 not out. While in the longest format, he hasn’t managed to do much against the Australian team but his highest Test score of 224 came against Australia.
MS Dhoni has played 36 matches for India against Australia across formats Down Under. He has scored 1,098 runs at an average of 33.27 with a high score of an unbeaten 87. He has done exceptionally well in ODIs and T20Is Down Under but his Test performances have been quite demoralizing.

In nine Tests played in Australia, Dhoni has scored just 311 runs at a below-par average of 19.43 with a high score of 57 not out. In 21 ODIs in Australia, MS has plundered 684 runs at an average of 45.60 while in T20Is that average rises to 51.50, despite playing just six games.
