The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is one of the most anticipated Test series as the whole cricketing fraternity waits to see the contest between India and Australia, who have played many memorable matches between them over the years. Perhaps one of the most memorable of all the editions was the 2020-21 Test series, which was played in Australia.
The Indian team, under the captaincy of, Virat Kohli, Team India scored 244 in the first innings of the first Test of the series in Adelaide, while the Aussies were bundled out for a paltry of 191 in response. However, the tables turned for India in the second innings, where the entire team was bundled out for just 36, as Australia chased the target easily in the second innings to take a 1-0 lead in the four-match series.

Despite the setback, India made a strong comeback with a victory in the second Test in Melbourne to level the series. The two teams drew the next encounter in Sydney before India registered a historic win in the final game of the series in Brisbane to clinch the series.
With less than three days until the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023, Cricket Australia took to Twitter to share a video of India’s ill-famed 36-run all-out in the first Test.
