Despite a an average season with the Gujarat side in 2016, he has been retained. Howevre, this year he has played some handy innings and played some match-winning knocks.

3. Thisara Perera (5 teams)

The Sri Lankan all-rounder Thisara Perera has had a very bumpy form in the IPL and hence no single franchise trusted him for long. Neither his bowling nor his batting has been up to the mark and that has meant that Perera has been changed by teams repeatedly. So far, he has played for various franchises, such as C. Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab, and Pune Supergiants. Unfortunately, Perera has now been released by even the Pune Supergiants after a poor performance in the 9th season of IPL and went unsold in the 2017 auction.
