Cricketers share pics of their Holi celebrations

Indian cricketers like Harbhajan Singh Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya, Deepak Chahar, Sachin Tendulkar, and team captain Virat Kohli shared pictures on social media wishing their friends and fans a happy Holi.

Harbhajan Singh led the celebrations on social media during the festival of Holi by posting a picture with his family.

Bhajji’s CSK teammate Deepak Chahar also wished his fans on the occasion of Holi by posting a few photos of him celebrating the festival on Instagram.

Opener Shikhar Dhawan who is recently called back for the India-South Africa series beginning on March 12, also shared a family Holi photo on the social networking platform, Twitter.

While the newly engaged India all-rounder Hardik Pandya, also posted a few pics with his brother Krunal Pandya and his  fiancee Natasa Stankovic on the occasion of Holi with a caption “Happy holidays from the Pandyas #Holi hai,”

Hardik, who had undergone a surgical procedure in London after suffering a lower-back injury has proved his fitness in the recently concluded DY Patil Cup. He smashed a record-breaking 158 runs in just 55 balls on his return to competitive cricket. Having seen the all-rounders performance in the DY Patil cup, the Sunil Joshi led selection committee has decided to call him back.

The all-rounder will return to the Indian team set up after a long break of 5 months and will be part of the Indian team playing the 3 match ODI series against South Africa. The 3 match ODI series will begin on March 12 with the 1st ODI scheduled in the beautiful stadium of Dharamshala.  The Series provides the Indian players to get back into form before the mega star-studded IPL follows.

Legendary India player Sachin Tendulkar also shared a post on twitter about Holi. Sachin’s tweet in Hindi read ” to all the citizens o India, I wish you all a happy Holi. I wish this Holi brings happiness and peace into your life.”

Sachin Tendulkar is currently leading the India Legends team in a road safety series happening in Maharashtra, India.

India team captain Virat Kholi also enjoyed the festivities of Holi and took to twitter and fished for the safety and good health of all his friends and people after wishing them a happy Holi.

Virat Kohli will be back in action on March 12 leading the Indian team in 3 Odi’s against South Africa starting March 12.
