On Tuesday, England cricketer Danielle Wyatt recalled her first meeting with the legendary Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar, and his son Arjun. She also expressed that Arjun is getting a bit too dangerous to face and she won’t like to face him. Wyatt also revealed that her first meeting with Sachin and his son Arjun was at Lord’s when she was with the MCC young cricketers.
During a chat with cricket.com, Wyatt said, “So, I first met Sachin and Arjun at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Maybe 2009 or 2010 when I was with MCC young cricketers, and they were training in the nets. Literally, I went to the nets and said hello and introduced myself, saying I am Danni, etc.”

She further added, “Arjun would have been 10 years old back then; he was so small. There is a photo somewhere on Google. I bowled to him that day; he was very good. Since then whenever I bump into Sachin or Arjun or whenever they come to Lord’s to train, I go to the nets and ask him (Arjun) to bowl with the new ball to me.”
Danielle also elaborated that Arjun has managed to increase his pace by a decent margin in recent times. She recalled that the youngster has the ability to knock a batsman’s head off, so she doesn’t like him bowling to me anymore.
Arjun is often compared to his father who is also known as the God of cricket, but the 20-year-old has regularly stressed that he wants to build his own career and not rely on Tendulkar’s name.
