After grabbing a bunch of eyeballs for proposing India skipper Virat Kohli on social media, England’s young batswoman Danielle Wyatt is once again making rounds on social media for her empathy for Afghanistan’s leg-spinner Rashid Khan.
Wyatt, who is one of most active cricketers on social media, has been closely following Rashid’s whereabouts and his performances on the cricket pitch in the recent times. The cunning leg-spinner is presently playing for Sussex in England’s Natwest T20 Blast tournament.
In the first match against Essex, Khan scalped two wickets for his side in his quota of four overs. With his economical spell, the Afghan spinner led his team to a dominating win in the match by 36 runs.

After the match, Sussex Cricket posted a video of the young leggie outplaying a batsman on their official Twitter handle. Wyatt was quick to spot that and replied on their video. Here is the video of the same along with Wyatt’s reply.

Meanwhile, an enthusiastic cricket fan on Twitter posted a question to the English batswoman about the chances of her getting married to Rashid. He wrote, “When are you both getting married?” Replying to the question of the user, the 27-year old English cricketer came up with another interesting reply.

At the young age of 19, Rashid has emerged as one of the most emerging bowlers in world cricket because of incredible bowling skills and talent, especially in the shortest format of the game. He has been rated as the world’s best T20 bowler by many cricketing greats, considering his rapid success in the shorter formats.
In the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL), Rashid scalped 21 wickets in the 17 matches and took his franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad to the finals of the tournament.
