The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pulled out a nail-biting win against the Surisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their must-win game to keep their hopes for IPL 2018 playoffs alive. Rising to the occasion in the game was AB de Villiers as he smashed the SRH bowlers all-around the park in the first innings and then pulled out a magnificent catch on the boundary line to dismiss the SRH opener, Alex Hales.

Hales was taking the game away from the hosts as he had already smashed a bunch of boundaries during his 24-ball 37 run innings. However, in the 8th over of the second innings, Alex connected a bowl bowled by  Moeen Ali which looked like as is it will go over the boundary line for a maximum. However, there was De Villiers standing on the boundary, defying almost all the laws of physics as he timed his jump to perfection, and pulled out an unbelievable one-handed catch.

The mind-boggling stuff from ABD left everyone in disbelief. The commentators, as well as the fans, were short of adjectives to describe the catch. RCB skipper Virat Kohli who himself is known to grab blinders from the thin air took to Twitter to laud the catch by de Villiers. On Twitter, Kohli said that he saw the Superman on the field, adding the picture in the Tweet. here is his tweet:

Fan following of the IPL has always been immense and the England Women cricketer Danielle Wyatt she has always been an awesome of watching IPL everyday. She too saw the catch and was left awe-struck.  When Kohli posted the picture on Twitter, Danielle described that it was an Unreal Scenes from the star Proteas player.

Earlier, the match saw some amazing catches being taken where Shikhar Dhawan, Rashid Khan literally grabbed bullets. Dhawan took the catch standing on one leg, inches away from the boundary line to dismiss De Villiers while Khan removed New Zealander, Colin de Grandhomme with a spectacular catch despite misjudging it earlier.
