On Friday, another former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria contacted Former Indian players, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh and urged them to help Pakistan people in such a time of crisis. Kaneria wants the Indian duo to come forward and help the minorities in Pakistan which have been badly affected due to the pandemic outbreak of Coronavirus across the globe. Earlier on, the Punjabi duo of Harbajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh have supported Pakistan’s most popular allrounder, Shahid Afridi. The World Cup Winners have openly expressed their support to Shahid Afridi’s foundation which is helping the poor and underprivileged right now.

“I request @YUVSTRONG12 and @harbhajan_singh to make a video for the minorities living in Pakistan as well. They need your help in this moment of #coronacrisis,” tweeted Kaneria.

Harbhajan Singh came into trouble after the former Indian spinner pledged support to arch rival’s and former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi’s Foundation during the coronavirus pandemic.
Yuvraj Singh too wasn’t received well by a chunk of Indian people on social media and he was bashed for the same. On Wednesday, #ShameonYuviBhajji was trending on Twitter with 50k tweets on the same.
The left-hander hit back at trolls with a tweet that said, “I really don’t understand how a message to help the most vulnerable gets blown out of proportion! All I tried to achieve via that message was to help people in our respective countries by providing healthcare, my intention was not to hurt anyone’s feelings. I’m an Indian and will always bleed blue and will always stand for humanity. Jai Hind.”
