The Delhi Capitals (DC) completed a stunning victory over the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 on May 11 (Wednesday). While Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh was adjudged the Player of the Match for his match-winning all-round performance, his teammate David Warner also played a brilliant knock and remained unbeaten on 52 as well.
However, after the win over Rajasthan Royals in the 58th match of IPL 2022, the left-handed opener yelled “How’s the josh” in the Delhi Capitals dressing room while the others responded with “High sir.”

“It’s important (to win big) as the net run rate is a big factor with many teams in the race for those spots. Everyone is in good spirits and this is a great win for us,” David Warner said in a post-match conversation with Star Sports.

“Feels good to get across the line. How good was Mitch there! Came out there and started positively. We just told him that if he can get an 80 or 90, he can win games for us. Bowlers did a great job too. It was a bit two-paced, that hard length wasn’t easy to hit,” the left-handed batter further added.
As far as David Warner is concerned in IPL 2022, the veteran batter has already amassed 427 runs in just ten matches and he is currently the third-highest run-scorer in the tournament. However, Warner would be willing to play a key role in Delhi Capitals’ next two matches against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on May 16 and Mumbai Indians (MI) on May 21 respectively as well.
